D3 steel, also known as AISI D3 or tool steel grade D3, is a high-carbon, high-chromium cold work tool steel. Like D2 steel, D3 steel is primarily used in applications that require cutting, forming, or shaping materials at lower temperatures, such as in cold work tooling and die making.

D3 TOOL STEEL SUPPLIERS
D3 is similar to D2 but with a slightly higher hardness. This grade also displays excellent abrasion and wear resistance.
Supplied Condition:
We supply D3 rounds in the soft annealed condition to max 248 HB.
