  • Low sulphur plastic mould steel with the addition of Nickel
  • Usually supplied quenched & tempered
  • Addition of Nickel improves the through hardenability of large dimensions (>400mm) / ensure consistent hardness through large sections
  • Good machinability
  • Better polishability compared to 1.2312
